Shoe Fly is a chain of comfort shoe stores from Pennsylvania, that offers many brands that cater to many people, like running shoes oreven shoes with arch support. I had an amazing oppertunity and time interning with them. I maintained communication with the supervisor, attend meetings, come up with mock-ups, pitch decks and finalizing a design. I learned about the regional places like Altoona, PA & Charlottesville, VA. I needed to research so I can take their community with niche interests and work them into my design. I decided to go for a postage stamp design to lean more towards the collection aspect of the shirt designs. I wanted it to be sort of a vintage feel, not too trendy, so the shirt can last for years to come. Overall, a great experience for my first internship.
